Parent and Students:
Welcome to Wilkinson County Christian Academy (WCCA), a place where God is glorified, parents’ Christian values are reinforced, and all children are nurtured in their faith. We seek to help each child, no matter what their ability, reach their full potential in all areas of their lives – in their minds, hearts, and lives of service. In short, we want our school and each student to SHINE for Jesus Christ.
We are a small pre-k through 12th grade school run by an enthusiastic group of staff and teachers who are passionate about providing high quality Christian education for your children. Our school is dedicated to student learning, focused on building leadership, growing academic skills, developing character, and instilling the value of serving the Lord.
Our school holds a Mississippi Department of Education, MAIS (Mississippi Association of Independent Schools), and AdvancEd (SACS) accreditation. Our state certified teachers demonstrate and initiate our school mission by creating an exciting, innovative and nurturing education setting- in and out of the classroom. Smaller class sizes (student to teacher ratio 14:1) allow teachers to provide attention to a child’s individual needs. From the beginning of preschool through the final years of high school, students grow in confidence, skill levels, and ability. Integrating rigorous academics with Biblical world view teaching helps WCCA prepare students to graduate with leadership abilities and a commitment to the values taught in their home, church, and school.
1 Timothy 4:12 says, “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.” At WCCA, we believe that with a positive partnership between the home and the Christian school, our students will set an example of excellence in all areas of life and learning.
